CEO, STUDIO OWNER &
DANCE INSTRUCTOR

Cherelle HERD

I founded Dynasty Dance & Performing Arts in 2020 with a mission to offer upbeat, inspiring, and inclusive dance classes to people from all walks of life. I am extremely passionate about self-love, self-confidence and body positivity, and this extends beyond dance and into every aspect of life. It brings me immense pride to share this passion with my students, empowering them to embrace their most authentic selves in all they do.

With over 20 years of dance training, I’ve built a deep well of knowledge and skills that shape the unique and empowering classes at Dynasty. I graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2019 with a BA (Hons) in Dance Education, where I spent my final year as the President of the Dance Society. Along the way, I’ve completed numerous ISTD Ballet, Modern, and Tap exams and had the privilege of performing on prestigious stages such as The Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre, and Sadler’s Wells.

For five years, Dynasty was my passion project—my baby. I experimented with countless ideas and approaches before discovering that teaching adults was where my heart truly lies. I ran every aspect of the business myself, never handing over the reins, even throughout my pregnancy in 2024. But after welcoming my son just days after Dynasty’s 5th birthday, I felt a shift. Inspired by motherhood, I made the decision to pass on much of the responsibility to my incredible and trustworthy sister, Natalie (who you can read more about below). I never thought I would step away from the admin and content side of the business, but I’ve learned it’s possible to thrive without being as deeply involved in every detail. Moving forward, I’ll focus solely on teaching dance, diving deeper into the styles and levels I’m most passionate about. When I return from maternity leave I’ll be teaching fewer classes, embracing the philosophy that less is more. But you can catch Natalie’s amazing classes every Friday night!

Even though my son is now my greatest achievement, that doesn’t mean Dynasty has been pushed aside. I am incredibly proud of the safe and inclusive space I've created for my classes, which allows people from all different backgrounds to feel confident, inspired, and connected. I've made friends for life here at Dynasty, and the positive energy that pervades the studio is one of the many reasons I am so grateful for what I do.

The goal at Dynasty is not only to teach dance classes, but to help students build confidence, body-positivity, and self-love. Come and join us at Dynasty Dance Collective to feel all of these things for yourself; I promise you won’t regret it!

At Dynasty, the goal isn’t just to teach dance; it’s to help our students grow in confidence, embrace body positivity, and encourage self-love. If you’re looking for a space where you can do all of this and more, come and join us at Dynasty Dance Collective. I promise you won’t regret it!

MANAGING DIRECTOR & DANCE INSTRUCTOR

natalie goode

My name is Natalie (but most call me Nat), and I am so proud to work alongside my talented sister Cherelle as business partners! After working full time in a school and dancing in my spare time, I felt inspired to make more of this and start teaching! I have danced with Cherelle since the very beginning in 2020, and I love everything about Dynasty and dancing! What I love most is the way dance allows me to express myself in ways I can’t in everyday life. Dance helps me stay present, forget the chaos of daily life, and feel pure joy, which is something I want to share with others.

Dance has been an incredible journey for me personally, growing my confidence and helping me discover who I am. That’s why I’m passionate about teaching—to help others experience those same feelings of confidence, happiness, and self-care. Before Dynasty, I danced from age 10-21, taking part in Ballet, Jazz, Street Dance, and Performing Arts classes. I’ve performed at local theatres like The Hawth in Crawley and even Sadler’s Wells in London. I returned to dance at the age of 27, when Cherelle opened Dynasty, and have been training in Heels, Commercial, and Jazz ever since. I love watching myself grow, and now I’m thrilled to teach two of these styles to others!

When Cherelle asked me to be the Managing Director while she took time off with her new baby, I was nervous but excited for the challenge, and full of adrenaline! I was eager to crack on, and now I can confidently say I love being both the Managing Director and Dance Instructor at Dynasty! The energy and support within our community is incredible, and I’m so proud to watch our dancers grow in confidence and start adding their own unique flair to routines. These moments truly bring my choreography to life and inspire me every day.

For the rest of 2025 I’ll be taking the lead as the sole teacher, with Cherelle joining us occasionally for keeping-in-touch days. So why not come and join us every Friday to grow in confidence, have lots of fun, and dance to your hearts content!

Check out the first Heels routine I taught and choreographed— it was such a vibe and will always have a special place in my heart!

“Cherelle is an absolutely amazing dance teacher with awesome choreography that I love learning every week. I’ve been coming to Dynasty since it opened and I love the welcoming and non-judgemental environment that Cherelle provides. My confidence and dance ability has grown even more in the 2 years that I have attended, and Cherelle is so accepting of everyone's different abilities. To anyone who is looking to start up dancing or getting back onto the dance floor this is the place to be on a Friday night!”

“Having never joined a dance class before I was extremely nervous before going, but I felt so at home on my first visit! The owner/teacher is lovely and makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. She is so patient and the school has such a healthy, friendly atmosphere! Would 10000% recommend to everyone!”

“Super fun, fabulous and judgement-free dance classes! When I first started I was very nervous but Cherelle was so lovely and really made me feel like part of the group; she is a great dance teacher and super inviting to all. The Commercial class is a really great mix of styles from Street to Dancehall, and even if the routine is a little more complex Cherelle is great at explaining! Overall a wonderful atmosphere which I look forward to every week!”
